Nettleden with Potten End Parish Council
New SID for Hempstead Lane
Our new solar-powered Speed Indicator Device (SID) has just been installed on Hempstead Lane. A mount has also been installed on Water Lane Road and the SID will be moved between the two locations from time to time. The parish council is grateful to David Lloyd (our Hertfordshire County Councillor) and Terry Douris (our Dacorum Borough Councillor) for their support of its efforts to reduce the speed of vehicles passing through our parish.

Next Parish Council Meeting
The next parish council meeting will take place in Potten End Church Room at 7.00pm (note the earlier than usual time) on Thursday 8th December. After the meeting refreshments will be served and there will be an opportunity to meet informally with councillors. The agenda can be found here. Note that it includes a proposal to remove the 5-a-side football goal, together with its protective netting and fencing, on the Spencer Holland Recreation Ground following the threat of legal action against the parish council.
New parish footpath
Dacorum Borough Council have today erected signs on our new footpath connecting the end of Browns Spring with FB31 that runs from Water End Road down to the Nettleden Road. This became a public right of way earlier this year following requests made by local residents through the parish council.
