The Parish Council administers an area including the settlements of Nettleden, Potten End and Frithsden under Dacorum Borough Council.  It is responsible for the sports ground, recreation ground, allotments, the green, the old green and the burial ground at Pouchen End Lane together with other smaller parcels of land around the parish. It is a statutory consultee for all planning applications in the parish and works with Hertfordshire Highways to improve the state of the roads.

The Council has been asking residents for their views on various aspects of parish life including what events residents would like to see and what their concerns are about the roads in the parish.
