Nettleden with Potten End Parish Council
Next Parish Council Meeting
The next parish council meeting will take place in Potten End Church Room at 7.00pm (note the earlier than usual time) on Thursday 8th December. After the meeting refreshments will be served and there will be an opportunity to meet informally with councillors. The agenda can be found here. Note that it includes a proposal to remove the 5-a-side football goal, together with its protective netting and fencing, on the Spencer Holland Recreation Ground following the threat of legal action against the parish council.
New parish footpath
Dacorum Borough Council have today erected signs on our new footpath connecting the end of Browns Spring with FB31 that runs from Water End Road down to the Nettleden Road. This became a public right of way earlier this year following requests made by local residents through the parish council.
Nettleden Road closure
Herts Highways has announced that part of Nettleden Road will be closed for repairs during the period 20th to 23rd December between the hours of 9.30am and 4.00pm.
This document gives more details. It looks like the closures will be between the junction with Pipers Hill in Nettleden and Little Gaddesden It may advisable to avoid the road completely during these times.

Police Surgery in Potten End
A police surgery will be held outside Potten End Village shop between 13.00 and 13.30 on Friday 27th January. If you have concerns about your security or any other matters this is an opportunity for a face to face talk with a member of the Berkhamsted and Tring Safer Neighbourhood Team. New memorial bench
A new bench has been donated to the parish by the family of Cherry and Keith Simpson and placed on Potten End Village Green to replace an old log seat. Cherry and Keith moved to the parish in 1975 and lived happily here for 41 years.
