Cllr John Berry

John has lived with his wife in Nettleden Road, Potten End for the last 30 years, his daughter and grandchildren as well as his grandparents were past residents for many years in Rambling Way. Educated locally at Berkhamsted School whilst his parents were residents in Berkhamsted. A banker by occupation (past CEO Abbey National) and still active in that industry today.

Believes strongly in the local community and feels now is the time to “give back” through involvement with the Council in whatever area there is most value. Feels strongly about preservation of local environment / road traffic (speed/ pollution) for example.

John is a member of the Finance & Administration and Planning Working Parties and may be contacted via john.berry@nettledenpottenend-pc.gov.uk

Details to follow

Cllr Doug Doolan

Born in Kings Langley I have lived and worked in the Dacorum area virtually all my life.

Married with two children and five grandchildren.

Employed by Kodak for 39 years finishing my career as National Sales Manager. Following early retirement continued to work as a consultant in the Retail Franchise business. Retired completely in 2013.

Moved family from Boxmoor to Glenfield, Little Heath Lane in January 1982 so have lived in Potten End for 43 years. Love the village and have been involved in the Gardening Club, in particular the years of the Open Gardens. So gardening is one of my passions as well as golf.

By joining the Parish Council I hope to help keep Potten End a ‘village’ and support villagers to create events some of which have been lost in recent years.

Doug may be contacted on 07984 194827 or doug.doolan@nettledenpottenend-pc.gov.uk.
