New Parliamentary Constituency Boundaries

You may not have caught the impact of proposals from the Boundary Commission for England (BCE) which may have significant implications for who will be our MP in the future. At the moment we are part of a constituency which runs from Hudnall and Markyate in the north to Kings Langley in the south, includes Hemel, and looks like this:

The BCE has published its initial proposals for new constituency boundaries to ensure that the number of electors in each constituency is more equal. Under these proposals the parish will form part of a new constituency stretching from Tring and Berkhamsted in the west to Wheathampstead and Harpenden in the east, will exclude Hemel, and looks like this:

The BCE is inviting the public to view and provide feedback on the proposed boundaries by the 2nd August 2021. If you want more information or want to comment on the proposals please go to https://www.bcereviews.org.uk
