New Parish Clerk

Katrina Bond, our Parish Clerk, has decided to move on to pastures new from the end of July. Both the Parish and Councillors have benefitted enormously from Katrina’s efficient and patient advice and administration over the past 18 years; she will be greatly missed and we wish her all the very best in her new career. We are delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Farrow as our new Parish Clerk.

Andrew lives in Berkhamsted, has a background in consultancy and financial services, and for the last five years has been the internal auditor for Little Gaddesden Parish Council.  Away from work he has sung in church, cathedral and acapella choirs for much of his early life and met his wife whilst they were members of the London Symphony Chorus.  They have two children whose love of swimming led to Andrew’s extensive involvement in the management of Hemel Hempstead Swimming Club over the past ten years.

The Parish Council aims to enhance and protect the quality of life of the residents of Potten End, Nettleden and Frithsden.  The Council is a formal consultee on all planning applications within the Parish, is involved in local environment issues such as the removal of fly-tipping and littering, and is responsible for the village green, sports field, recreation ground, burial ground and allotments. If you have any questions about any of these areas or would like to get involved in community activities, please contact Andrew by email at clerk@nettledenpottenend-pc.gov.uk or by phone on 01442 781124.
