At 9.45pm on Thursday, 2nd June, Potten End will light a beacon as one of over 2,000 across the UK and the Commonwealth to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s 70th year as monarch.

The beacon will be lit by Darryl Keen, a resident of the village and a Deputy Lieutenant of Hertfordshire.
